Welcome - I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Jessica Masseke-Harvey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of WiseMind Therapy. I offer therapy for teens (15+) and adults who are ready to work through emotional overwhelm, trauma, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck especially those who often look like they have it all together on the outside, but feel anything but calm on the inside. Specializing in men’s mental health issues, personality disorders, and high functioning anxiety.
Why “WiseMind”?
The name WiseMind Therapy comes from a core concept in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): the balance between emotion and reason. It’s that inner knowing we all have—the calm, centered place inside us that can guide decisions and relationships, even in the middle of chaos. I help people reconnect with that part of themselves, especially when emotions feel too big or out of control.
My clients are often:
Professionals or executives balancing high-pressure careers with inner turmoil
Teens and adults struggling with intense emotions or identity issues
People living with personality disorders, especially Borderline Personality Disorder
Survivors of trauma, including childhood trauma or relational wounds
Individuals who are tired of feeling like they’re “too much” or “not enough”

How We Work
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Whether you’ve done full DBT before or are brand-new to it, I incorporate DBT tools into our sessions to help with emotion regulation, boundaries, and building stronger relationships.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is one of the most effective treatments for trauma and stuck memories. Together, we can help your brain and body process painful past experiences so they no longer hold power over your present.
Meet Vanessa
Vanessa Willis Pannell, LMSW, provides therapy for preteens, teens, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, struggling with emotions, or having a hard time navigating relationships and daily stress.
She is trained in DBT and focuses on helping clients build real-life skills to manage emotions, handle stress, and feel more in control. Vanessa especially enjoys working with middle school-aged clients and creates a space that is both supportive and structured, helping them feel understood while learning tools they can actually use.
